Saudi writer Political Reformer Sentenced to Prison

A Saudi Arabian writer, Zuhair Kutbi urgent political reforms reportedly been sentenced to four years in prison.
Lawyer and son Zuhair Kutbi say, half the penalty will be suspended. But he was also banned from writing for 15 years and not allowed to travel abroad for five years in addition to fines amounting to Rp365 million.
It remains unclear charges imposed on Kutbi so he is considered guilty. The author was allegedly arrested in July after saying on TV that Saudi Arabia should become a constitutional monarchy.
The 62-year-old man is the latest figures from a number of human rights activists, reformers, journalists, and dissidents were imprisoned in the Gulf state
